First off, an apology - this post is long overdue. I started writing it back even before the TCXO post, I think some time in December 2025. But then I ended up accidentally finding a silicon bug with security impacts (described later on in this post, and stay tuned for a blog from work on the bug in particular) that I had to keep quiet about until ST had a chance to review and put an advisory out, and there wasn’t a whole lot I could publish about this project until then. Once that finally came out I got busy on other things.
